  1. Mix margarine and flour until crumbly
  2. Gradually add half and half
  3. Roll out dough and cut with a 1 1 / 2 inch cutter
  4. Dip in granulated sugar
  5. Bake at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes
  6. Meanwhile
  7. Melt the butter and mix with the yolk
  8. Vanilla
  9. And gradually add in the powdered sugar
  10. You can divide this into separate bowls if you want more than one color of frosting
  11. Spread frosting between cooled cookies
