from emeril lagasse, 2002! i watched emeril make these on his show and thought they looked very good. they are delicious!! they are not like most of his recipes that are complicated! very each to put together.

this is the best bean salad i have ever tasted. our whole family loves it, even our picky kids! when we are invited to a bbq, people always beg us to bring it, so we do..... it's fast,easy and cheap, how can you beat that?
these onions are great with burgers (try it with my recipe #309195).they can be cooked ahead, cooled and kept in the fridge. when you need them, simmer them gently. when they are hot, add a splash of beer to perk up the flavour.
one word: delicious! when we were kids, grandma called these torn pants! we couldn't wait for them to be done and would be waiting at the stove for them. our faces were white with powdered sugar....those were the days and they can be again!
