  1. Remove the stem from each pepper
  2. Slice the peppers in half lengthwise on one side
  3. Cutting almost to the

  16. Pressing it in firmly and keeping the pepper whole
  17. Coat a large nonstick skillet with the corn oil and heat
  18. Without crowding the pan
  19. Add the stuffed peppers to the skillet
  20. Cover the peppers and cook over low heat for 5 minutes
  21. Turn and continue cooking until the peppers are tender and the meat is thoroughly cooked
  22. About 15 minutes
  23. Serve at room temperature
