  1. Cook rice until half done (this keeps the rice from turning mushy as the cabbage rolls cook
  2. Boil whole cabbage 15 minutes and separate leaves
  3. Cut out hard stems
  4. Combine meat
  5. Rice
  6. Vegetables
  7. Salt and pepper
  8. Stuff and roll cabbage leaves
  9. Place in baking dish
  10. Cover with tomato sauce and bake at 350 for 1 hour and 45 minutes
  11. Good served with french or italian bread
