i tried this from a posted recipe on cooksrecipes.com and served it to teachers at my daughter's hs. they did not leave a crumb on the plate and so enjoyed it so i will be making this moist and full of flavor cake often. i did make some little adjustments to the spices just for a bit more flavor to the cake and streusel. it has a wonderful surprise brown sugar streusel in the middle of the cake which just gives a burst of fun in each slice of cake!

this banana bread is "number one" to me. i used to throw banana bread away after the first couple slices, since it never lived up to my expectations. i save the last sliver of this one, carefully wrapped in plastic, and savor the last bite. the loaf bakes
another great banana cake but with a blast of citrus; gives it an added zing! it is lower in fat than some and i quite often make it without the icing so it is not too sweet either. i often add something extra as well...often a handful of dried cranberrie
