  1. Combine cream cheese
  2. Sugar and one egg
  3. Mixing until well blended
  4. Set aside
  5. Combine dry ingredients
  6. Add combined oil and eggs
  7. Mixing just until moistened
  8. Fold in carrots and nuts
  9. Reserve 2 cups batter
  10. Pour remaining batter into a greased and floured 9 inch bundt pan
  11. Pour cream cheese mixture over batter
  12. Carefully spoon reserved batter over cream cheese mixture
  13. Spreading to cover
  14. Bake at 350 f degrees 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean
  15. Cool 10 minutes
  16. Remove from pan
  17. Cool thoroughly
  18. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired
  19. 12 servings
