  1. --------instructionsfor dough----------
  2. Sift flour and baking powder into a bowl add sugar and mix
  3. Rub in the lard with your finger
  4. Add water and vinegar together and knead until a fairly soft dough
  5. Shape into a ball and let it rest
  6. Covered
  7. For 30 minutes
  8. ----------tomake the buns-----------
  9. Divide the dough into10 portions
  10. Mould each into a smooth ball
  11. Roll each out on a lightly floured surface to a circle about 4 inches across
  12. Put a heaping teasp of filling in the centre and gather the edges inward
  13. Folding and pleating to make a neat join
  14. Twist dough to seal
  15. Put each bun
  16. Join downwards
  17. On a piece of bakers paper
  18. Lightly greased with sesame seed oil
  19. In a steamer
  20. Cover and steam for 20 min utes
  21. Serve warm
  22. -------------filling------------:the filling for this recipe is simply a teaspoon full of the prepared sweet bean paste
