Steps

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat
  3. Add mushrooms and onions and cook
  4. Stirring occasionally
  5. 8 minutes or until lightly browned and soft
  6. Add garlic and cook
  7. Stirring
  8. 1 minute until fragrant
  9. Add ale
  10. White sauce mixture and tomatoes
  11. Bring to a boil and stir constantly until sauce thickens
  12. Add shrimp and reduce heat to medium low and simmer 2- 3 minutes until cooked through
  13. Drain pasta and place in a large serving bowl
  14. Add shrimp and sauce and toss to mix and coat
  15. When serving
  16. Sprinkle with the scallions and cheese
