belles garlic meatballs


i love the garlic in the middle of these meatballs. i usually use them in my spaghetti sauce for spaghetti and meatballs, but would make a great appetizer. if using for spaghetti then instead of doing step 6, place in your sauce to finish cooking. from the cajun grocer.

  1. In a mixing bowl
  2. Combine the chuck and pork
  3. Add salt
  4. Cayenne
  5. Black pepper
  6. Worcestershire sauce
  7. Oregano
  8. And the egg
  9. Mix well
  10. Form the mixture into 12 small balls and insert the garlic into the center of the balls
  11. Dredge the meatballs in the flour and shake off any excess
  12. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat
  13. Brown the meatballs
  14. Turning several times
  15. And cook for about 15 minute
  16. Drain off any excess fat and add the beef broth
  17. Cover skillet with a lid and simmer for about 15 minute
