wonderful treat in winter you can use apple as well. i haven't tried any other fruits, but i guess anything that keeps its shape.

Steps

  1. Peel bananas and cut them into 1
  2. 5" chunks combine flour
  3. Cornstarch
  4. Egg
  5. Water and mix till smooth
  6. Heat frying oil till moderately hot
  7. Dip the banana chunks into the batter
  8. Lift them out one at a time
  9. Tap off the excess batter and put them into the hot oil
  10. Fry for 1-2 minutes
  11. Till the batter is golden
  12. Lift them out right away and drain on paper towels
  13. Have the bowl of ice water nearby
  14. Put sugar and sesame seed in a clean dry pot
  15. Melt the sugar till it darkens a little
  16. Reduce heat to very low
  17. Just to keep it warm but not burned
  18. Dip the fried banana chunks in
  19. A few at a time
  20. Coat them thoroughly with sugar syrup and sesame
  21. Lift them out into the ice water to harden
  22. Then lift them right now
  23. Serve right away with vanilla ice cream
  24. "this dish doesnt freeze at all
  25. And you should serve it right away"
