Steps

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat
  2. Combine cup of the beet liquid
  3. Vinegar
  4. Lemon juice
  5. Salt
  6. Brown sugar and cornstarch
  7. Mix well
  8. Cook
  9. Stirring constantly
  10. Until thickened and clear
  11. Stir in beets and apple
  12. Reduce heat to low and gently simmer for 15 minutes
  13. Serve warm
  14. Freeze leftovers
