beer marinated flank steak


i made this for a friend's birthday dinner and it was so good my husband asked me to make again over the weekend. easy, flavorful marinade for flank steak. i adapted this from bon appetit.

  1. Whisk first 7 ingredients in medium bowl
  2. Then whisk in beer
  3. Pour marinade into large resealable plastic bag
  4. Add steaks
  5. Seal bag
  6. And chill 1 day
  7. Turning bag occasionally
  8. Grill over medium-high heat for 5 minutes per side for medium rare
  9. Alternatively
  10. Place steaks in hot grill pan or skillet and cook until well browned and thermometer inserted into center registers 125f to 130f for medium-rare
  11. About 5 minutes per side
  12. Transfer steaks to carving board and let rest 5 minutes
  13. Slice steaks thinly across grain
  14. Arrange on platter
  15. Spoon any accumulated juices over and serve
