  1. Remove any bags of organs / neck / giblets
  2. Rinse the chicken
  3. And then pat it dry with paper towels
  4. Sprinkle inside the cavity as well as outside with seasoned salt and house seasoning to taste
  5. Drink / pour 1 / 3-1 / 2 of a can of beer
  6. Then add at least 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons lemon juice to the can
  7. This is the time to add any herbs / seasonings your family likes
  8. Such as
  9. Oregano
  10. Thyme
  11. Rosemary etc
  12. "i then add this can to my beer-can chicken gadget
  13. That i got at walmart for less than 3 dollars
  14. But you dont have to use one"
  15. Preheat grill to medium-high heat on one side
  16. Place chicken over the top of beer can so that it goes into the cavity
  17. I place mine in a shallow foil pan
  18. So that i catch the juices
  19. Which then could be used to make gravy or stock
  20. Now place chicken on the grill over an area that is not over direct heat
  21. Cover and cook for one hour and thirty minutes or more
  22. As the size of the chicken will determine when it will be cooked through
  23. Until there are no red juices
  24. It is done
  25. House seasoning: 1 / 3 cup salt
  26. 1 / 8 cup pepper and 1 / 8 cup garlic powder
  27. I use this mixture on almost all meats
  28. Just love it !
