this ham is our favorite holiday ham. my great great grandmother use to make this ham at her restaurant in norway. she would always make it for the holidays. very old recipe but very good. and really simple.

  1. Unwrap ham and place in a large dutch oven
  2. Pour beer over the ham
  3. Making sure that ham is covered
  4. Cook on medium heat for 2 to 4 hours or until tender
  5. May need to turn the ham to help the flavor of the beer get cooked into the ham
