Steps

  1. 1st clean / scrub mussels very very well
  2. Pull out beard
  3. Toss the clean mussels
  4. Beer
  5. Onion
  6. Garlic and butter into a large pot
  7. Cover and steam over high heat until the mussels open
  8. About 7-8 minutes
  9. We eat out of one bowl
  10. Its a nice way to share
  11. Use shells as spoons to slurp up broth
  12. Bread option:
  13. Drizzle the baguette slices with olive oil
  14. Salt and pepper and grill until crispy and golden
