bbq lasagna


this lasagna has a smokey flavor that reminds me of bbq. it uses corn tortillas instead of pasta. i served it to my family at christmas and it was a big hit.

  1. In a frying pan
  2. Brown ground chuck and drain
  3. Slice the sausage into piece about 1 / 2 inch long
  4. Add onion
  5. Garlic
  6. Sausage
  7. Pepper
  8. Chili powder
  9. Cumin to the meat and cook for about 5 minutes
  10. Add the picante sauce to the meat mixture
  11. Heat then set aside
  12. In another bowl
  13. Add the ricotta cheese
  14. Egg and parsley flakes
  15. Mix together well
  16. Spray the bottom of a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray
  17. Lay four tortillas in the dish forming a single layer
  18. It is ok if they overlap
  19. Place 1 / 2 of the cheese and 1 / 3 of the meat mixture on the tortillas
  20. Spread them around forming an even layer
  21. Sprinkle 1 / 3 of the cheddar cheese on top
  22. Layer four mor tortillas and repeat the previous step
  23. Add a top layer of tortillas and top with the remaining meat
  24. It needs some moisture so that the tortillas stay moist
  25. Sprinkle the top with the remaining cheese
  26. Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes
