  • Carbohydrates: 360.2

  1. Stir 3 / 4 c sugar
  2. Oil and salt into the boiling water
  3. When the mixture has cooled
  4. Stir in the eggs and 1 c flour
  5. Stir the warm water
  6. 1 teaspoons sugar and the yeast together
  7. In a large mixing bowl
  8. Combine the oil mixture with the yeast mixture
  9. Add the remaining flour
  10. Working it in one cup at a time
  11. Mixing the dough until it is soft
  12. And no longer sticky
  13. Knead the dough
  14. Place in a large oiled bowl
  15. Covered
  16. Then let rise until at doubled in bulk
  17. Punch down
  18. Cover and let rise again
  19. When i get to this step
  20. I cut enough dough out to make 9 dinner rolls
  21. Then set them in an 8x8 oiled pan to rise
  22. On a floured surface
  23. Roll the dough into a rectangle
  24. About 1 1 / 2" thick
  25. With a rubber spatula
  26. Spread the 1 / 2 cup softened margarine over the dough
  27. Sprinkle with the brown sugar and cinnamon
  28. You may adjust the sugar and cinnamon amounts according to your taste
  29. In a bowl
  30. Stir the 1 / 2 cup melted margarine
  31. Corn syrup
  32. Cream and brown sugar together
  33. Pour into well oiled pans
  34. I like to use cake pans
  35. Roll the dough up tightly
  36. Sealing the seam by pinching the dough together
  37. With a sharp knife
  38. Slice the dough into 2" slices
  39. Place the slices into the pans
  40. Then let rise until doubled
  41. "bake at 350 for 20 mins"
  42. "let the buns sit in the toffee sauce for 5 mins
  43. Then invert pans onto cookie sheets"
  44. Enjoy while warm
  45. These will stay soft for several days
