  1. Mash one of the cans of beans with the juice with a potato masher
  2. Drain and rinse the other two cans of beans and set these whole beans aside
  3. Add salsa
  4. Garlic powder
  5. Chili powder
  6. Salt
  7. And cumin to the one can of beans that were mashed
  8. Then set aside
  9. In a pot bring the broth
  10. Water
  11. And onion to a boil
  12. Simmer until the onions are clear
  13. Then add the corn and all of the beans to the pot
  14. Stir well and then simmer at a low heat for about a half hour
  15. Can serve topped with sour cream and diced green onions
