our clean eating gyros

since we're strict clean eaters, and huge lovers of greek food, here is our clean eating version of gyros. if you like this, great! if not, it was developed for our tastes afterall... ;) ->prep time doesn't include refrigeration.

Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 350f
  2. Combine oregano
  3. Garlic powder
  4. Onion powder
  5. Salt
  6. Pepper and egg
  7. Add turkey and mix well
  8. Press into a greased loaf pan
  9. Bake for 60 minutes or until done
  10. Let cool completely
  11. I place it in the fridge for an hour or so
  12. Meanwhile
  13. Stir your yogurt
  14. Sour cream
  15. Cucumber
  16. Garlic cloves
  17. Vinegar and dill together
  18. And set in fridge until loaf is done
  19. Once your meatloaf is cool
  20. Slice thinly and lay pieces on a plate for reheating
  21. Place in microwave and heat until warm
  22. This is how we like them: smear some tzatziki over the whole pita
  23. Lay down lettuce to cover
  24. Add meat
  25. Then tomato and onion on top
