  1. In a large saucepan heat olive oil over medium high heat
  2. Cook and stir the mushrooms and onion in hot oil until onion is tender
  3. Stir in the orzo
  4. Cook and stir about 2 minute longer until orzo is lightly browned
  5. Remove from heat
  6. Carefully stir in the chicken broth
  7. Carrot
  8. Marjoram and pepper
  9. Bring to a boil
  10. Reduce heat
  11. Simmer
  12. Covered
  13. For 15 minutes or until orzo is tender but still firm
  14. Remove saucepan from heat
  15. Stir in broccoli
  16. Let stand
  17. Covered
  18. For 5 minutes
