this recipe is from the rotel website. this is how my grandmother always made it. she got it off of the can.

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees f
  2. In a large saucepan
  3. Cook pepper and onion in melted margarine until tender
  4. About 5 minutes
  5. Add soups
  6. Rotel and chicken
  7. Stirring until well blended
  8. In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan
  9. Alternately layer tortillas
  10. Soup mixture and cheese
  11. Repeating for three layers
  12. Bake 40 minutes or until hot and bubbling
  13. Serves 8
