  1. Caramel:
  2. Put sugar and water in a saucepan
  3. Caramelize on high heat
  4. Line loaf tin with caramel
  5. Be sure to line the sides of the pan
  6. Custard:
  7. Blend all ingredients in a blender
  8. Pour mixture into caramel lined loaf pan
  9. Cover with aluminum foil
  10. Place tin in a larger baking pan half filled with water
  11. Place pan in pre-heated oven at 375 degrees
  12. And bake flan for about 1 hour or until firm
  13. Place serving dish over top of loaf pan
  14. And invert
  15. Flan will easily plate
  16. And the caramel provides a wonderful sauce
