Steps

  1. Brown ground beef or turkey
  2. Drain fat if needed
  3. Add water
  4. Soy sauce
  5. Onion
  6. Garlic
  7. Rice
  8. Pepper and soup mix
  9. Bring to a boil
  10. After a boil has been reached
  11. Cover and reduce heat to low
  12. Cook on low for 20 minutes
  13. Uncover
  14. Stir and allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving
  15. Add vegetables during last 5 minutes of cooking time
