Steps

  1. Trim any fat from the roast
  2. Cut the roast to fit into your slow-cooker in needed
  3. Put roast into slow-cooker
  4. In a small mixing bowl
  5. Add the apple juice
  6. Soy sauce
  7. Hoisin sauce
  8. And five-spice powder
  9. Stir to combine
  10. Pour over roast
  11. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours
  12. Take meat out of slow-cooker and place in a large bowl or on a flat surface
  13. Shred meat
  14. Using two forks
  15. Place meat on roll bottoms
  16. Top with shredded cabbage
  17. Add roll tops
  18. Skim fat off of cooking juices
  19. Serve cooking juice in small bowls for dipping
