oriental meatballs


this is a recipe from the company's coming christmas book. i haven't tried it yet, but i think it would be good as a main course meal.

  1. Meatballs: measure all ingredients into bowl
  2. Mix well
  3. Shape into 1 inch balls
  4. Arrange on baking sheet
  5. Bake at 350of for 15 minutes
  6. Sweet and sour sauce: stir brown sugar
  7. Cornstarch and mustard powder together in saucepan
  8. Stir in pineapple juice
  9. Add vinegar
  10. Ketchup
  11. Water and soy sauce
  12. Heat and stir until it boils and thickens
  13. Sauce can be served seperately for dipping or can be poured over meatballs to serve from chafing dish
  14. Makes 64 meatballs and 2 1 / 3 cup sauce
