Steps

  1. Remove tops of green onions
  2. Set aside white portion of onions
  3. Cut green onion tops into very thin strips
  4. Place in a bowl of ice water
  5. And set aside
  6. Slice white portion of 3 onions
  7. Set aside
  8. Reserve remaining onion for another use
  9. Position knife blade in food processor bowl
  10. Add chicken and next 6 ingredients
  11. Process for 30 seconds
  12. Stopping once to scrap down the sides
  13. Stir sliced onion into chicken mixture
  14. Place 1 phyllo sheet on a damp towel
  15. Lightly coat phyllo with cooking spray
  16. Layer 3 phyllo sheets on first sheet
  17. Lightly coating each sheet with cooking spray
  18. Cut phyllo stack in half lengthwise
  19. Cut stack crosswise tohird o make 6 stacks
  20. Keep phyllo stacks covered
  21. Spoon 1 tablespoon chicken mixture into center of 1 phyllo stack to within 1 1 / 2 inches of each end
  22. Parallel with long edge
  23. Roll up phyllo
  24. Jellyroll fashion
  25. Starting with long sides
  26. Twist 1 1 / 2 inches from each end
  27. Place firecracker
  28. Seam side down
  29. On a baking sheet coated with cooking spray
  30. Repeat procedure with remaining phyllo and chicken mixture
  31. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until golden
  32. Tie each end of firecrackers with a green onion strip
  33. Serve with hot horseradish mustard
