Steps

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  2. In a 10-inch ovenproof skillet
  3. Melt the butter over medium-high heat
  4. Stir in the sugar and cinnamon
  5. And then add the apples and saute until soft
  6. In a medium mixing bowl
  7. Beat eggs until frothy
  8. Beat in the milk and sour cream
  9. Add the flour and beat well
  10. Stir in the lemon zest
  11. Pour the batter over the hot apples in the skillet
  12. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until browned and puffy
  13. "dust with the confectioners sugar and serve at once"
