this lemonade pie has a meringue topping to make it a beautiful sight as well as a delightful ending to your meal!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine sour cream and slightly-beaten egg yolks in a saucepan
  3. Stir in pudding mix
  4. Lemonade and milk
  5. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and boils
  6. Remove from heat and spoon into pastry shell
  7. Beat egg whites
  8. Vanilla and cream of tartar until soft peaks form
  9. Gradually add sugar
  10. Beating to stiff peaks
  11. Spread on top of hot filling
  12. Sealing meringue to the edges of the pastry
  13. Bake for 12-15 minutes
  14. Cool and chill
  15. Use a deep
  16. Narrow bowl and electric mixer
  17. Add salt and cream of tartar when foamy
  18. Add sugar when whites hold soft peaks
  19. Bake on highest rack in oven
  20. Cool baked meringue at room temperature
  21. Then refriegerate if necessary
