  1. "with a sharp knife
  2. Make slits or pockets in the pork loin -- one for every whole garlic clove youre going to use"
  3. Insert the whole cloves and bit of fresh oregano into each slit
  4. Set aside
  5. In medium bowl
  6. Combine oil
  7. Wine
  8. Lemon juice
  9. Minced garlic
  10. Thyme
  11. And salt and pepper to taste
  12. Mix well
  13. Pour over pork loin and refrigerate 6-24 hours
  14. Preheat oven to 350
  15. Place pork in a baking pan and add 1 cup water
  16. Bake for 1-1 / 2 hours
  17. Or until pork is tender and juices run clear
  18. Occasionally baste with juices in pan
  19. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes or so
  20. Cut into slices and serve
