lemon tarragon cream sauce


when i was about eight, this sauce was "invented" by me with a little "help" from mom. it's luxurious and velvety over pasta, especially fettucine.

  1. In a saucepan over medium heat
  2. Saute garlic in butter until the garlic begins to brown
  3. Add the riesling
  4. Mix
  5. Add the cream
  6. And
  7. Lowering the heat
  8. Reduce the sauce for 10 minutes
  9. Add the lemon and tarragon and cook for 5 minutes more
  10. Add salt and pepper to taste
  11. Serve over fettucine
