  1. Lightly oil a 9 x 13-inch baking pan and set aside
  2. In a large bowl
  3. Stir together the flour
  4. Sugar
  5. Zest
  6. Baking soda
  7. And salt
  8. And set aside in small bowl or measuring cup
  9. Whisk together the water
  10. Lemon juice
  11. Oil
  12. And vinegar add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until well blended add the poppyseeds and whisk well to combine
  13. Pour the batter into the prepared pan
  14. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean cut into 12 pieces before serving
