  1. Preheat oven to 330 degrees f
  2. Butter and flour small loaf pan
  3. Combine sugar and eggs in large bowl and beat until very light and fluffy
  4. Slowly beat in milk
  5. Add butter and lemon and vanilla extracts and combine well
  6. Add all remaining ingredients and stir to blend
  7. Turn into prepared pan
  8. Bake about 50-60 minutes
  9. Or until a tester comes out clean
  10. Pour lemon syrup over and allow to cool about 10 minutes
  11. Turn out of loaf pan and cool completely
