  1. In large plastic food bag
  2. Combine lemon juice
  3. Oil
  4. Oregano
  5. Garlic and pepper
  6. Trim and discard excess fat from chicken
  7. Rinse and place in bag
  8. Seal and turn to mix chicken with marinade
  9. Let stand 10 to 20 minutes
  10. Turning occasionally
  11. Remove chicken from marinade and place pieces slightly apart on a rack in broiler pan
  12. Reserve marinade
  13. Broil about 6 inches from heat
  14. Turning as needed to brown evenly
  15. Until meat is no longer pink at bone
  16. Basting occasionally with reserved marinade
