lemon coconut white chocolate truffles


this is my fusion of two recipes to try to get an easy, elegant white truffle for the holidays. cooking time is cooling time.

  • Carbohydrates: 46.8
  • Fats: 2.0
  • Dietary Fiber: 25.0
  • Minerals: 1.0
  • Proteins: 1.0
  • Vitamins: 6.0
  • Water: 2.0


  1. Put white chocolate and marshmallows into a large heat proof bowl
  2. Finely grate the peel from the lemon
  3. Put milk
  4. Sugar
  5. Salt and lemon rind in saucepan
  6. Heat over medium heat and bring to a boil
  7. Boil gently stirring constantly for two to five minutes
  8. Until smooth
  9. Pour milk mixture over white chocolate and marshmallows and beat until you have a smooth
  10. Well incorporated mixture
  11. Pour into a parchment lined 8x8 pan
  12. Cool until no long sticky
  13. About 1-2 hours
  14. Form into balls and put in freezer 15 minutes
  15. Dip truffles in melted white almond bark and sprinkle with toasted coconut
  16. Chill to set before serving
