  1. Cook beans until tender either by steaming or in boiling water
  2. Drain and return to pot and toss with 1 tablespoon butter
  3. Season with salt and pepper
  4. Cover to keep warm
  5. In small saucepan
  6. Melt remaining 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat
  7. Add almonds and cook
  8. Stirring
  9. Until fragrant and lightly toasted
  10. About 1 minute
  11. Add lemon zest and juice
  12. And toss with the beans
