Steps

  1. In large bowl
  2. Beat butter
  3. 1 / 3 cup powdered sugar and the vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended
  4. Stir in flour until dough forms
  5. Cover
  6. Refrigerate 30 minutes for easier handling
  7. Heat oven to 350f shape dough into 1-inch balls
  8. On ungreased cookie sheets
  9. Place balls 2 inches apart
  10. Press thumb into center of each ball to make indentation
  11. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown
  12. Immediately remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks
  13. Cool completely
  14. About 30 minutes
  15. Fill cookies with lemon curd
  16. Sprinkle powdered sugar over cookies
