lemon tagliatelle


this is definitely for those who enjoy lemony dishes. very refreshing and lighter tasting than most cream pastas. sometimes i use a bit less lemon zest and add torn basil leaves.

  1. Heat the olive oil on low in a saucepan
  2. Add the zest
  3. And cook 2 minutes
  4. Mix in the creme fraiche
  5. Bring to boil
  6. And pour in the reserved lemon juice
  7. Bring the mixture back to a boil until the cream starts to thicken
  8. Mix in the parmesan
  9. Season with pepper and salt
  10. Cook another minute
  11. Stirring
  12. Toss with drained pasta and serve immediately
