  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender
  2. About 8 minutes
  3. Meanwhile
  4. Whisk the oil
  5. Parmesan
  6. And lemon juice in a large bowl to blend
  7. Drain the pasta
  8. Reserving 1 cup of the cooking liquid
  9. Toss the pasta with the lemon sauce
  10. And the reserved cooking liquid
  11. Adding 1 / 4 cup at a time as needed to moisten
  12. Season with salt and pepper
  13. Garnish with lemon zest and chopped basil
