First I’ll take you to a typical Mexican Farmer’s Market where we’ll select fresh ingredientes for our salsas. Back at home, you’ll learn how to make 3 different kind of salsas. Cooked, raw and mortar. Tomato, tomatillo, coriander, onion, garlic, serrano chili and chipotle. Afterwards we’ll finish off with 2 cheese or chicken enchiladas, beans and of course our just-made salsa. For drinks, tamarind water, lemon with chia or hibiscus with basil (depending on the season).
My friend and I had such a lovely time with Marisol! We both learned new things about salsa and it was really fun to learn about Mexican food culture. I would highly recommend this EatWith experience. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Marisol!Vote : 5/5
Marisol took us to the local market, where we selected the fresh vegetables for the salas. We also had time to talk to the locals and buy fresh fruit and traditional Mexican candy. Marido welcomed us into her home and showed us how to make 3 different salsas from different bases. She made quesadillas, eggs and provided tortilla chips to tase the salsas. Everything was fresh and prepared right there in her beautiful Kitchen. She speaks English and Spanish which was perfect.Vote : 5/5
Marisol has impressed us. Hospitality, knowledge, all the time devoted to us. Indeed in a freakie date like 1st of January!!!, she accepted our request and hosted us in her home. We loved the event, but we will never forget her attention, spirit of teaching us, and all the family attentions!!!. Thanks MarisolVote : 5/5
