Australian Wine, Cheese, and Charcuterie Night

Guests will meet at my apartment in South Yarra, Melbourne - just a couple kilometers from downtown/CBD. With jazz music playing on the record player and candles lit, I’ll host a lovely evening in my apartment over delicious cheese and wine while chatting and getting to know each other. We’ll start with appetizers, including a gourmet salad and artisan bread (from a top-rated bakery in Melbourne) to dip with a beautiful extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This will be followed by a cheese and charcuterie board featuring local Australian dairy with small side dishes such as olives, grapes, etc. All of this will be complemented with Australian wines (at least 2 glasses per person). I’m happy to modify the menu as needed based on dietary restrictions. I am gluten intolerant so I can provide gluten free crackers if needed. I generally also stick to red wine, but if you’re keen to try a white wine, I’m more than happy to accommodate. Hope to see you soon! Note: I have a completely carpeted apartment so I ask that you not wear your shoes indoors. Thank you for understanding! Note 2: I have a small and very sweet little pomeranian puppy named Wilbur. He's a ball of fluff weighing in at a whopping 2.7kg/6lb. Please be aware of this in case you're allergic to dogs!

Christina and Jeremy were warm, welcoming, and wonderful hosts - not to mention providing a meal that was delightful to look at and delicious to eat. (We took pictures of the food.) Being in their home was an evening and a memory that I will treasure for years. (We are from the States and were on a cruise ship docked at the Melbourne Pier. We took a cab/Uber to get to their home. It was easy and it was a fun way to see a part of the city we would never have found without Christina and eatwith.com.) As I told her, "You will always be the heart of Melbourne in my thoughts and memory."
