The guest will taste regional cuisine of Lombardy and other typical Italian dishes. Damiano generally proposes a typical menu composed of a mix of Como Lake flavors, on whom shores he is grew up and which includes dishes with local fish, venison and home-made sweet. However, if you are curious about other dishes or to discover more about Italian cuisine, he is the best as he can organize some tasting of other Italian dishes as carbonara or spaghetti with lobster and a lot more. The ingredients, where possible, will be local. All the lake fish comes from Como Lake and it is fished by its friends. Also mushrooms are picked by him and dried or frozen for the next seasons, whilst eggs and milk generally come from a local henhouses and bought at the Sunday market of the town. The experience will take place in a nice cottage in Appiano Gentile, which has two gardens where it is possible to eat in the spring or in the summer. It is easily reachable by Milan, Malpensa Airport or Como Lake (30 minutes by train from all of these places). Please contact him to know more.
