We had the best time! Roberto and Cristina were the perfect hosts. They did everything to make our entire family feel welcome, even going out of their way to include their own grandkids for our teenage son. The traditional Mexican meal was delicious and everything and more we could hope for. We highly recommend!Vote : 5/5
Dinner with Roberto and Christina is a very special experience, and I highly recommend anyone visiting Mexico City do this. It will be the highlight of your visit there. Both are excellent chefs and very personable people. Books and records like the shelves of their beautiful home where they entertained us as if we were old friends. The meal was beyond fantastic (two appetizers and Margaritas; a beautiful tomato soup with cactus and cheese and Chiles en Nogada, a national dish normally prepared August -October but prepared by them especially for us because they knew we liked it. Christine makes 100 fruitcakes per year which she sells or gives as gifts during the holiday season, so we had one of those for desert. Both Roberto and Christine and a friend whom they invited to join us were full of tips on where to go, eat etc. in Mexico City, so book this early in your trip is possible to take advantage of their knowledge. We took Uber to and from their house from the Centro Historico with no problems. If you’re thinking twice about this, don’t. It’s the best eatwith dinner we’ve experience, and we’ve done four or five others in various cities.Vote : 5/5
Roberto and Cristina are marvelous cooks and warm, generous hosts. We relaxed in their home and learned about a Mexico that is more familiar than foreign. Their advice will shape the rest of our stay in CDMX and our upcoming trip to Oaxaca and Huatulco. We will never forget this hospitable evening.Vote : 5/5
We had an absolutely wonderful meal and evening with Roberto and Cristina and their friend Eddie in their lovely home in the San Jeronimo neighborhood of CDMX. We immediately felt welcomed and comfortable, and enjoyed hours of conversation and amazing food (and margaritas!) - the best we've had during our stay here in the city! We'd absolutely recommend this experience as a great way to spend an evening.Vote : 5/5
